How did “Inspiration Rocks!” begin? Good question!
For Spring Fling, I wanted to have a free activity for kids to do that was hands-on and inspirational. While at the $ Store, I saw some river rocks and shells. That gave me the idea to do a rock project. After finding Sharpies at the office store, we were in business!
Hundreds of rocks were created and shared that day! People are still talking about it!
After Spring Fling, we set out “Inspiration Rocks!” at lunch a few times and I had an “Inspiration Station” in my room, a table with cool supplies for projects.
Teachers ROCK! started when we put a box of Inspiration ROCKS! in the front office for teachers to take when they signed their annual evaluations. Encouragement was important based on the evaluation system. Some teachers took two!!!
