The School Culture Project is about addressing serious issues in schools like: depression, anxiety, isolation, disconnect, self-care, negativity. We All Have a Voice! started in 2014 with a “Before I die I want to…” Wall.

We knew it would an interesting journey in discovery. What we found that this Wall has revealed the hearts of our community. When people share, the voices all go together and echo, one off of the other. We have learned important things about our community, like people want to “fly a Learjet”, “retire”, “travel all over the world”, “own a white tiger named Sparky”, “Be 6 feet tall”,”ride a unicorn”,  “own a pineapple farm”, and more. And we have also learned that people “want many other things, much more serious. They  “want to be noticed”, “want to be heard”, “want to conquer anxiety”, want to “stop cutting”, “stop bullying”, “want to find a cure for cancer”, “be important to someone”, “find love”, “want to be cancer-free”, “want to be legal”, “want to have their family back together”, and so much more.

This article relates this idea, an idea of having different conversations, new conversations, serious conversations.
