Highland High School’s “Before I die” Wall, inspired by artist Candy Chang, gained immediate attention from the media in April of 2014.

The very first day the Wall was unveiled to the school, KOB 4 Eyewitness News saw a tweet from the principal and arranged to come out and cover the story. That was the first social media announcement of “We All Have a Voice!”.

The inspiring story was covered by KOB 4 Eyewitness News just one week after students started painting the Wall and then revealed it to the school. It was a district sponsored project that was linked to the promotion of literacy skills.
