In August 2014, Candy Chang was invited to be the key note speaker for the New Mexico Municipal League’s Annual Conference in Albuquerque. There were more than 800 officials from all around the state of New Mexico. When Candy found out about the We All Have a Voice! Program,and it’s connection to her project, she invited Melinda and a student to share our stories as a part of her keynote speech.
What an honor it was to share a stage with Candy. She has changed the world for countless people with her inspiring ideas to create public spaces where people can share what they are thinking and feeling.
